I would look at it as loyalty. Do you want a team that wants to be a part of your conference and is willing to do whatever to make it stay together. You don’t want the team that is talking to everybody on the side and leaving early. Utah’s behavior in the PAC 12 is what you should be looking for in a school. Other schools who were sniffing around and talking to other people is a lack of loyalty.

Utah loved the PAC 12. They shouldn’t be punished for that. They didn’t come kicking and screaming. They came if their own free will after their conference was dead. They were thankful for that opportunity and yet still sad their conference died. They would have preferred the PAC but it wasn’t a choice.

And again, we should stop talking about what people say on X. It really doesn’t matter
