I have worked for major tech companies
None of them cared or even asked about a degree in the hiring process - the hiring managers absolutely did not care.

They all wanted to hire a proven sales person. That matters infinitely more than a degree and will trump a degree every time for the vast majority of tech companies.

These are not low paying sales jobs I am referring to. These are $250-500k jobs. The best in these jobs make 7 figures.

There are companies that do care about a degree - I encourage sales people with and without a degree to stay away from those companies because they likely are not good companies to sell for.
