to take it all in. There just so much. And the scale of everything! For an interior space, St. Patrick's is vast, beautiful, and inspiring. We happened to be there when their staff was hanging bundles of flowers throughout in preparation for their Easter celebration. For gazing upwards - inevitably your eyes are drown to the towers - I'd choose the view of the Chrysler building from about half a block away. The details and (again) the scale make a very strong impression. There's so much. I'll add just one more thing. I really think we heard just about as much French and Italian spoken as English when we were on the streets. The locals were mostly silent, just making their way from place the place. The Europeans talked endlessly. It gave the city an intensely international vibe.
