on this one. You are right, someone could pay all that for one season and if they don’t get to renew the same seats they could ask, ‘what’s the point?’
Alternatively, my perspective when I go to buy season tickets (especially because I’m from out of state now) is looking at the CC cost + Ticket cost for that year and asking if it’s worth it given the likely seat location. That price is all about this one season, not any future seasons. So my personal answer to ‘what’s the point?’ Is, “because for this season you can get tickets in x location.”
I know to get to the point where I can put some consideration into the value of what I’d get in seasons beyond the current one, I’d need to give a donation at the legacy level.
