At Nebraska, for example, there is a minimum donation required for the right to purchase any season ticket - and the amount varies based on location of the ticket. So requiring a donation is essentially what BYU is doing. But instead of requiring a minimum donation of $250 per seat (which I believe is Nebraska’s lowest donation amount, though I could be mistaken and I’m too lazy to Google it) BYU is simply requiring a Cougar Club membership, which could be as low as $60 TOTAL. It’s a screaming deal to buy season tickets at BYU.
