My last CEO was amazing. Guy worked 24/7 and implemented a strategy that will

assure the long term survival of the company for decades, protecting both employee jobs and investor interests. He was CEO for 18 years and recently retired knowing he’d served the company and its employees well.

He was well compensated with many millions in stock options, all rewarded because of his performance, over and above his base annual salary of $1.3M.

Did he deserve it? I used to think not until I saw what he achieved and the thousands of jobs he secured and ensured for the company into the future.

The guy has my ultimate respect and I hope he is loving retirement.
