Productivity follows an S curve with a very truncated start. Workers fulfill the most valuable task first, then the next
and so on. By hour 10 of work you are less productive.
This is also true at the GDP level. Countries that work less have higher productivity (for instance France). The have lower total production, but higher productivity.
