AI and automation are not the threat to the US. It is the ridiculous expectations and sense of entitlement
that will lead to their being replaced and their sense of purpose (non-spiritual) going away.
AI is simply one of the options to replace people. Other options include switching to a foreign workforce or no longer doing the thing that has become too costly.
