that was turned into WFH by default. The salary was based on working in the office. So if people want to stay home their salary should be reduced with this logic, not salaries increased for in office. Seems hypocritical to have been hired for an in office job and then expect the same salary for working from home. If you prove you are effective at home the market will eventually work through this and you will get paid. But there are going to be lots of companies pushing for employees to go back to the office if they don't feel it is as productive. The job market is turning and employees are not going to be able to demand the same pay and WFH in many cases.

I think WFH is great. But if you were hired for an in office job and now are demanding the same pay but will only WFH that is hypocrisy.
