This is not true. They buy them at a cost usually higher than market rate for
single game tickets. There are a few game exceptions like Utah or Baylor but once bYU loses a game, secondary market rates are usually half of the season tickets costs at best and often much lower. No one is making money on average by selling these seats besides BYU.
