I feel for them, but it was time. Many of the original donors are long gone and I never liked the idea of passing
The tickets along to the next generation. At some point BYU needed to end this arrangement so they can get new infused money into the program. Seems crazy that if I wanted to donated $200k to the program that I still wouldn't get priority over someone who's grandpa donated $10k 40 years ago.
