Did you just say that John Beck played well in the 13-16 loss to 6-6 Arizona?
The numbers do look OK. Beck did not play well. His passer rating against Boston College was 125. He was bad that game and made too many mistakes and not enough good plays in his 59 attempts.
He was mostly really good the rest of the year except against Oregon where he threw two picks. His QB rating against P5's that year (counting Utah and TCU, which were not P5s and his best two games by far) was not as good as Hall's is in his career.
