These are starters on next years team. In fact, starting guys like Olave, who is looking forward to dollar signs and the draft and maybe not focused, might actually be detrimental.
So a 5-star WR, with a year under his belt and 6 weeks of first team reps, who is slated to start, isn’t exactly your run of the mill “backup”. These guys are studs. The whole argument that Utah lost to scrubs is stupid. Those guys would have started for all but 5 teams in college football.
