That Utah team was a nightmare at the beginning of the year
They also went through some stuff as a team that I think was pretty heavy. There was some Covid hangover and the death of Ty Jordan seemed to have a impact. It was pretty cool to see them right the ship and improve as the year went by.
While some uneducated folks might make the lazy argument regarding competition, if you watched them play, there was such a clear difference from beginning to end.
To finish the season ranked 12 and play in the Rose Bowl and hang tough with an Ohio State team that seemed to feature a future NFL player at every position was a lot of fun. So if you enjoyed the end of the season, that makes two of us.

They have much to be excited about next year. Good for them. BYU has much to be excited about as well. Good for us.
