Checked into the Marriott in Farmington NM.
Wife and I get unpacked and she’s sitting on the bed. Then it happened…
A little tan lizard, maybe 6” long, skittered out from behind the headboard and onto her head.
I have never seen a person scream and thrash about like that. It almost reminded me of a standing eplileptic fit.
She jumped up and was running around, knocking over half the furniture in the room.
I managed to grab the lizard and whip it across the room, bouncing it off the wall, and landing on the ground where it crawled behind a curtain.
We were able to change to a different lizard-free room.
