It was a hotbed of what I suspect were drug deals and other transactions going on. The entire night there were guys yelling at each other. Outside our door. In the adjacent rooms. There was a shoving match or a fight that banged into our door. I was expecting gun shots but they never came.

But I didn’t sleep that night after about 11:00. Luckily it was just my wife and me so we didn’t have to figure out how to calm our young kids.
