Basing OLine progression on last year alone is not something that I am comfortable with. The overall level of competition was pretty low.

I think the OLine was on an overall upward trajectory after the last three seasons and some of the players returning are potentially really good. I think we will see really quickly just what BYU picked with Coach Funk. If the OLine returns to form from two years ago and gets dominated by P5 programs but does well against most G5 then things are about the same as last year. If BYU can't dominate G5 programs and flops against programs like SDSU ala 2019 then Funk is a step down.

What I really hope he can continue is the player development year over year. That has been missing at BYU for a long long time and Grimes was making it happen.
