If you think someone using the F-word constitutes frightening someone or a threat, you're beyond help.
"Once again, saying "everyone does it" does not make it ok. Did you think is was OK for those BYU fans to throw things at the refs because Ute fans get angry at the refs some time? Didn't think so..."
Again, you're the one missing the point. Not saying "everyone does it so its OK". Saying "The BYU fan who started this thread is throwing stones from a glass house." The phrase "strain at a gnat and swallow a camel" comes to mind. The original post wondered why so many ALUFs tolerate it. Why do BYU fans tolerate such obnoxious behavior from THEIR fans when the church is SUPPOSED to be all about brotherhood, service and charity? Is an F-bomb REALLY so much worse than calling the other team's fans drunken reprobates or saying their UU degree guarantees them a long life of pumping gas? Please explain what is so "wrong" with the F-word? Folks down in Provo have a hissy-fit over it, wondering aloud if their children will be "safe" being at a venue where they might hear that "horrible word." The rest of the world just shrugs it off, considering it no worse than calling someone an idiot.
One more time, are you "OK" with all those other "Christians" handing out anti-LDS literature right outside Temple Square during General Conference?</tried>
