What I tell my patients with heart failure is that they need to weigh themselves
every day. If they gain more than 1-2 pounds on consecutive days, that is water weight and they need to take more of their diuretic pills to get back down so they don’t get short of breath.

If you don’t have heart failure, stop weighing yourself daily. Once a month, if that. Focus on your diet, exercise, and how your clothes fit.
