and on most basic packages. I never actually knew that myself until I went and looked after the PAC deal and some on here said they watch some shows on it all the time. Channel 248 on DirecTV and part of the low level Choice package...
I do give them that one.
But I don't fully agree with them on FSN....

Now days when ABC/ESPN do a split regional coverage game they put the game not available on ABC in your market on ESPN.
ABC = 114 million homes
ESPN = 100 million homes
ESPN2 = 99.9 million homes
FX = 99 million homes
VS = 76 million homes
ESPNU = 73 million homes
BYUTV = 55 million homes
CBSCS = 38 million homes
the mtn = 8 million homes
FSN/other regionals = ?????
When things get down to the 70 million range I don't bother arguing one way or another about whether they are "national" or not. Each person's package/perception will be different. For me (on DirecTV) I don't pay extra for anything from CBSCS and up. For others they may not get from VS down without paying extra. But if I went to a local restaurant (not a designated sports bar) that has satellite I'd almost for sure be able to get exactly what I'm getting at home on DirecTV without a sports pack. So even if you don't get it some place in your neighborhood does and therefore "could" be considered national.
