I was scheduled to fly to Japan on Sept 11, 2001

I was in the US on a business trip (was living in Japan at the time) and they closed the airport just as I was about to leave the office for the airport that morning. I ended up getting stuck in the States for a few days, but was on the first post-9/11 trans-Pacific flight out of the US.
