P12 was done when USC axed any expansion while talking behind closed doors w/
the Big10. That decision, spurred by the USC AD, effectively killed the conference. The rest was just a matter of time, but the second biggest piece was Yormark and the B12 jumping in front of them with the new TV contract. Turned out to be a major coup.
