Apparently we don't, since we just went 11-2 with what you call

a "good not great" qb. If our defense doesn't let a punt go off their helmet against Kansas, we would be playing in the Big12 championship. If our defense doesn't allow Skettebo to run wild on us in the first half against ASU, we are playing in the Big12 championship game.

There's plenty of blame to go around, but claiming that we need a great qb just isn't true.
