Getting Catchings at the time put a lot of eyeballs on the program. This was a good thing in many ways. May have even helped us get some other guys. May have even been one of the many pieces that helped influence AJ.

I know for a fact, it brought sleepers media into the fold. They have been really fun to watch this year and they are always touting BYU and KY.

Didn’t turn out like he or we planned unfortunately. I hope he does well. I think he’s a good kid and has a good family. Sometimes people have a higher analysis for their own kids and family members than what is realistic.

If he does not want to be here/work for a spot on a team, that will likely be going back to the Sweet 16… it’s probably best that he’s moving on.

I believe KY can find better players that will fill the roles that he is needing. Talented shooters like KC don’t come along every day. Hard-working defenders, combined on a team of unselfish players usually go farther than great individual offensive players.
