With the exception of Trey Stewart (who's a pick-your-poison player, 'course), ALL our best defensive players are in our starting lineup. I think the coaches would've preferred Kanon to have stole minutes from Knell increasingly during conf play, but that just didn't work out for us for several reasons.
I, mean, we coulda tried to control clock like Bennet always masterfully does, but we didn't have a PG seasoned at doing that; and besides, we didn't have the personnel that Bennet had to exploit Bama in a drawn-out halfcourt match, regardless.
Even still, do I wish we had Bennet on staff in prepping for Bama? Absolutely, I do.
