At this point I just trust KY and staff with the roster.
It would suck to lose a major contributor to the transfer portal but I just don't see that happening.
If a bench players decides to transfer, I'll wish them luck and I'll just wait to see who KY reloads that spot with.
Taking shots at outgoing players is Ute behavior and CBers should rightfully call out other CBers who do that garbage. (And to clarify - OP was great...there are either CBers who are just whiny and childish in their comments about Kanon)
