Growing up in the 50’s as a young boy I remember my oldest brother talking about the great BYU NIT teams. Dick Nemelka and many other greats. BYU had a strong basketball program long before football came around.

I saw Cosic play in the latter 60’s/early 70’s. Such a unique and multi-talented big man player. He made BYU basketball so popular that the Marriott Center needed to be built.

Ainge was awesome, especially his senior year. Jimmer, everyone knows about. IMO, Ainge and Jimmer were BYU’s best players.
I’d vote them both as tied for #1, with Cosic a close 2nd place.

This years team has given us 2 NCAA tournament wins to date. Such a fun, fast paced scoring machine. Hoping for 3 in a row tonight!
