Yes they would have to add minimum contract guys. No one is saying the Suns are in good position. They are not.
They traded way too much to get Durant. Then they inexplicably added Bradley Beal.
They are in a world of hurt, but that is from poor decisions much more than any new rules.

I think the #2 and #5 picks should go to teams that make the playoffs.

So many issues with your proposal but the most glaring one is you would decide who wins the championship based on ping

Give the new salary cap rules a couple of years. I'm betting they'll make a difference.

High salary teams are even more restricted on acquiring players. Also, many of those teams don't have the ability

Phoenix's issues have little to do with the new rules.

Meh, they have to salary dump Royce Oneal and then they will be good.

Mar 26, 1:47am
Not really. They still have to sign more players to fill out the team. They're also looking at extending KD. They're in

Yes, bad decisions but are now limited in what they can do because of the salary cap rules.

What does that have to do with tanking though?

Mar 26, 9:34am
Teams will tank more now to get good young talent as the expensive free agent route puts you in jail.

Many teams, like the Suns who should have an incentive to tank, don't have control over their draft picks and also,

Again that has zero to do with the new collective bargaining agreement and yes, tanking works. Who has the best

Sure it does. The CBA and salary cap is another way in addition to the draft for teams to get better. They're very much

OKC didn't build their team by tanking. Their high picks are not the cornerstones of their team by any means.
