If you look at who is leaving and our current roster, no player jumps ahead of Catchings next season. He already was a starter in the line-up for half the season as a freshman.

If you assume both Demin and Mag are gone, then AJ takes Demin's place and Catchings takes Mag's place at the starter position. No player on the roster has Catchings' combination of length, athleticism, and shot making ability. There seems a clear path for him to start opposite AJ on the wing next season, and AJ's creative ability would draw a lot of attention and thus get Catchings a ton of open shots.
