That's the way markets work, though. There are going to be years where they

lose a lot of money as well. I am an out-of-state season ticket holder. I make it to most games, but there are always one or two that I can't make it to. I should have the right to sell my tickets. I buy tickets for my kids, too. If they can't make it and we can't find another family member or friend, they get sold.
