Lots of players score 11 points or more and EITHER get 8 rebounds OR get 8 assists, but all three of those is obviously very rare.
Filling the stat sheet in this way is unusual and it's very helpful for the team to have a rebounding guard like Demin that is 6'8". Demin's play is a non-trivial aspect of BYU's success this year, in spite of some frustrating TOs he tends to produce under pressure. Demin knows where the ball is going when it's coming off the rim and he scrambles to it for boards. A guard that prefers assists to scoring that can also rebound is a luxury, which is why he's still projected as a first rounder by basically everyone and by many as a lottery pick.
I'd love to see him perform well against 'Bama and take us to the elite 8 to improve his draft stock.
