CB (and some links I followed from CB to ESPN and a few other news sites). My wife and kids (BYU fans all) had no clue that it happened until I mentioned it casually a year or so later. In the last couple of years, I’ve heard nothing about it outside of CB.

Anecdotal for sure, and others have probably had different experiences, but I don’t think it was all that big of a story nationally, although I agree that it did get some national coverage (gotta fill the news cycle when things are slow).
