The one elder from Idaho asked me if I was a byu sports fan. I said I was.

He proceeds to tell me he's a huge Utah fan and he's multi generational Utah fans (father, mother, neighbors cat, 2nd cousins 4 times removed FIL, etc.). All graduated from the U.

But...

Then he tells me he goes to BYU solely for the reason it's cheaper than going to Utah for his situation (being from Idaho). He went to BYU for a year before his mission wearing Utah gear to class.

.... What a weird... Story.

I kept thinking about him missing out on some pretty good sport years for byu because of this.

I met like 1 other person like that but he transfered from the U to BYU for a specific program.
