Demin is a really good 3 pt shooter when he takes his shot. The issue, and this is what killed his season 3 pt shooting percentage, is he came over here still thinking he was playing against soft, European defense. He was used to taking 3 pt shots straight off his dribble and even with his defender right in front of him. That's not his shot. That's not really anybody's shot. But he loved that shot and he was taking lots of them through the first half of the season. Surprise, surprise, he made very few of them.


But the man has a pure 3 pt shooting stroke when he is taking 3s as a spot up shooter. That's what he did vs VCU, and that's why he made a much higher percent of them.
