I’ve heard that they usually only go for low-hanging fruit for recruiting, and the roster shows that - 27/41 players are
from Utah, and Utah isn’t exactly a hotbed for baseball talent.
Would love it if Pratt could get or retain his nephews. The Pratt family are a HUGE baseball family - they seem to be producing a new D1 player every year, but almost none want to come to BYU, and those who have leave and perform well elsewhere. Nearly all of them play in Mississippi or that area, and they all end up at colleges in that area or into the draft.
