I've always run my family's pool on Yahoo, but my brother requested we do it on ESPN this year.
Are you not able to change the scoring options on ESPN? I hate most default scoring options.

Changing the default scoring is communism.

Way too much credit for picking the champion, and zero incentive to pick upsets. Boooooring.

Picking the champion is much harder than picking a first round game that you already know the teams.

Yeah, but it shouldn't be the same as if you picked every single first round game correctly.

The first round is largely pointless. Again, it’s easy when you know the teams.

It's as pointless as you make it with your scoring system. More fun to have each round mean something.

We’ve always done where you add the seed to the point per round so if you pick a 10 seed to win you get 11 points round

Seed multiplier. I like it.

You might have to manually track that like it’s 1990.

Just give prizes based on who wins each round or whatever.

Yeah, I'm not manually tracking points like it's 1990.

You look to see who’s winning after round 1 and give that person a prize.

I like doing 1-2-3-5-8-13
