Houston two and half months ago by 20+ points and going into last nights game, clearly the players knew they were a very different and a better team than the team over two months ago that got beat badly. They had to have tons of excitement and confidence even though they knew Houston was a tough team.

They were on a 9-game win streak, won four games against top 25 teams, beat their rival, just hit 18 of 36 threes and scored 96 points against Iowa State, and the country was starting to take notice. They were riding high.

…then to get destroyed…again…by 20.

Just brutal. I hope they can use this as a wake up call and play tough next week.
