Vancouver’s two best forwards JT Miller (100+ pts and top 10 in league scoring last year) and Elias Petterson (26 y/o, former 100 pt scorer himself) apparently have an awful relationship to the point the team had to trade one, despite both being signed to long term deals. The team has disappointed this year despite Quinn Hughes going god mode on defense, partly because both of the big forwards have really underproduced.
Finally tonight the Canucks traded Miller to the Rangers, who he started his career with. They’ll play each other in the Four Nations (Miller for USA, Petterson for Sweden) in a few weeks.
