Unfortunately, the only question for me every year is “how big will the checks
I write to the government be this year?”
Sure, it means I made money but how much is often a surprise because of investment accounts managed for us and others into which we have no visibility until the K1 and 1099s show up.
Because of this, we are always late filers.
