In general, I don’t think so. Go speak to your doctor if you are overly concerned about it
Or think that the general case does not apply.
But overall, I don’t think the “side effects” argument is great. Everything has side effects. Tylenol has side effects. Basically every medication we take without thinking does.
It’s a determination of risk. Everything in life is. There is a risk in driving to the doctor’s office itself. There are of course rare effects for vaccines. Doctors and health orgs have determined that those risks are easily overcome by the benefits of being vaccinated against cancer.

The counter argument is that it is somehow permission for your child to have premarital sex. Very sad.

For some, it’s basically saying “I would like to use the risk of cancer as a deterrent to my child having sex”
