If there were an HIV vaccine, would you get that for your kid? I sure would.
Just because they should be fine as long as they don’t have sex, that’s not a smart way to make health decisions. It’s like only teaching kids about abstinence and not birth control.

The counter argument is that it is somehow permission for your child to have premarital sex. Very sad.

For some, it’s basically saying “I would like to use the risk of cancer as a deterrent to my child having sex”
