My 3rd Great Grandfather went to Montana to find gold
When he got back, his wife had married someone else. Brigham Young said he was gone too long and wasn't going to void the marriage/sealing.
He said he was gone 4 years but had sent letters and gold home. She said he was gone for 8 years without any communication. The guy she was married to was hitting on her and trying to get her to leave my relative when they were all living in Nauvoo.
