Reengineering someone's shot is rarely done anymore. As long as the shot is at
a high release, bad form is no longer an issue. Working with a player on release time is one thing, but changing hand positioning and footwork of an 18 year old kid is rare.
If the BYU coaches changed his shot knowing they would only have him for year, they did everyone a disservice.
