Once I learned proper bowling technique, my scores got worse, much worse. I then gradually improved over the semester. But it took me a year or two to eclipse my poor form scores. Now I’m a consistently better bowler but it took awhile.

I wonder if that’s what we are seeing with Egor. The coaching staff has reengineered his shot. I think we are seeing the results of that with his poor shooting percentages. His shooting will likely get better, I suspect much better. But it’s possible we won’t see that improvement this season. Might be a year or two or more, unfortunately for BYU fans.
