During WFH COVID I set up my vise and materials in my home office and tied a

bunch of simple flies (anything without hackle but mostly midges, mayfly nymphs and mayfly film emergers/cripples that have simple deer hair wings). It was nice to tie flies again and I even fished them some.

Since then I have slacked off on both the fishing and tying.

I rarely tie anything "hard" or elaborate anymore. I just purchase flies like dry stones and hoppers, fancy streamers etc

It can be more expensive to tie rather than buy if you don't fish a lot.
