While ocean cruises have never appealed to me, I might be able to get on board with a European river cruise on a smaller ship that docks daily in a different city.

Questions:

Is one cruise brand better than the others?

Would I have to follow around a guy with a little flag and headset mic?

Would I be allowed to attend even if I haven't yet had any joints replaced?
