Same Job..
Same Role..
Salary did increase over time (but hit the ceiling a few times)..
The company got sold 3 times (technically worked for 3 companies doing the same thing)..

Crazy job security vs. Making a few extra bucks a month.

What i got out of it...

I was able to go to EVERY kid event.. Sports, Concerts, Dad's & Doughnuts.. etc.
No overtime.
No weekends.
Put in my 2 hours a day.. and goofing around the other 6 🙂

I actually re-hired 3/4 of the guys that worked for me and left for greener pastures (they found out greener pastures = more yard to mow 🙂 ).

My kids were big into sports, being able to go to every single game from Little League through college (and some pro) is something i will cherish forever.
