pressure is continually building for him to do or say something. At that level of leadership, there’s no way he isn’t aware of the need to do something.
If I were him I’d get it out of the way now. Find a day, a holiday, a new semester - some sort of “fresh start” and use it as a way to say “let’s try this again.”
However, I do think they may be protecting Harlan. By admitting anything means he is throwing him under the bus. Not that that is right, but I do think they are protecting him.
In my mind, I feel like fans have more and more fodder to tease him if he just stays quiet until next rivalry week. Just too many ways to take jabs at him if he does nothing.
