I’m afraid I might be responsible for the Kansas and ASU losses.

For the first nine games this year I wore the same shirt. I got it over the summer…it became my gameday shirt…just a simple stretch Y 1/4 zip.

For the Kansas game…it was colder. I had ordered a new hoodie. I decided to wear it and was going to wear the other shirt under it but I didn’t.

Of course, after the Kansas loss I knew it would be silly to think my shirt choice had any impact on the game (because that would be crazy). So the day of the ASU game I wore the same hoodie from the Kansas game. And of course, same hoodie, same result.

For Houston and Colorado I went back to the 1/4 zip. And of course those were both wins.

The hoodie is now stuffed in a ball somewhere in the back of my closet…probably 1/2 way to Narnia by now. The 1/4 zip is prominently placed so I can easily find it next year.

I’m sorry. I may have cost BYU a chance at the playoff.
