To get him and establish ourselves as an NBA pipeline, we had to pay more than others
Yeah, he probably wouldn't have gotten as much elsewhere..but then he would have gone to Duke or UNC or wherever and we wouldn't be seen as an NBA pipeline.
Not sure we are overpaying him, but if we are, the purpose is to establish ourselves as a destination
